Aims and Objects

Aims and Objects of Amma Foundation

At Amma Foundation, our aims and objectives are built upon a deep commitment to serve every human being with compassion, dignity, and continuity—from birth to death. We exist to bring light into the lives of those who have been pushed into darkness by poverty, abandonment, disability, or disaster. Our work is not defined by transactions, but by transformation.

1. To Serve from Womb to Tomb

To support individuals at every stage of life—from prenatal care and birth celebrations to education, marriage, rehabilitation, and respectful funeral assistance.

2. To Uplift Orphans, the Poor, and the Destitute

To provide food, clothing, shelter, healthcare, and education to orphans, homeless people, widows, beggars, and the economically disadvantaged without any discrimination.

3. To Run Shelter Homes and Child Care Institutions

To establish and maintain shelter homes and residential facilities for children, especially boys without parental care, where they receive love, education, and emotional support.

4. To Support Women During Pregnancy and Motherhood

To conduct baby showers, provide delivery assistance, and extend postnatal support for poor and abandoned mothers, ensuring they are treated with dignity.

5. To Celebrate Life’s Milestones for the Forgotten

To organize cradle ceremonies, naming ceremonies, birthdays, marriages, and Sastipoorthi functions for those who have no one else to celebrate with them.

6. To Offer Funeral Assistance to the Abandoned Dead

To perform the last rites and respectful funerals for unclaimed bodies, the poor, and the elderly who die alone or without financial means.

7. To Promote Health and Wellness in Underserved Communities

To organize free medical camps, distribute medicines, and create health awareness in slums, schools, and marginalized populations.

8. To Conduct AIDS, Anti-Tobacco, and Mental Health Awareness Programs

To educate vulnerable communities, especially youth, about the risks of tobacco, HIV/AIDS, and untreated emotional health issues.

9. To Distribute Food and Clothing to the Needy

To conduct daily and emergency food drives and provide clothing to the poor, homeless, and disaster-affected families.

10. To Support Education for Underprivileged Children

To distribute educational materials, pay school fees, provide uniforms, and ensure that poverty does not deny any child the right to learn.

11. To Train Disabled and Underprivileged Youth in Digital Skills

To offer free computer training, job-oriented courses, and livelihood support to help young people become economically independent.

12. To Rehabilitate Beggars and Homeless People

To identify, rescue, and rehabilitate beggars by providing hygiene care, counseling, clothing, shelter, and job or care home referrals.

13. To Provide Disaster Relief and Emergency Support

To deliver immediate help—food, clothes, utensils, and shelter—to victims of floods, fires, and other emergencies.

14. To Conduct Environmental Awareness Activities

To organize tree plantation drives, lake protection campaigns, Swachh Bharat activities, and community clean-up programs.

15. To Preserve Culture Through Rehabilitation-Oriented Programs

To use cultural performances, folk arts, and moral storytelling to promote healing and social change, especially in jails and slums.

16. To Engage Volunteers and Build a Culture of Service

To invite individuals from all backgrounds to participate in service activities, mentorship, and community development efforts with empathy and commitment.
